I FINISHED TESS!!!!!

finally.  it's over.  i was all ready to go to school, turn in the reading log, and take the test, but lo and behold.....ANOTHER SNOW DAY!!!!

hooray! 

i think i'm going to watch the lord of the rings today.  haven't watched those in a while.  too busy.  so i'm going to do that today.  i worked on my scrapbook some.  i'm gonna have to go to morgan's house and make copies of some of her pics, because i don't have many.  mainly guard stuff. 

i slept in late today.  it was glorious.  only thing about this weekend is, no football.  too weird.  that's all i've done on friday nights (or saturday ) for the past 14,000,000,000,000 weeks.  ok just kidding.  only 14 weeks.  but it's been fun.

i'll just have to watch razorback football as gus malzahn takes the spread offense to Arkansas!!!  yep, he got the offensive coordinator job.  hot dog for us!  i bet we win some next year.  more than 4.  yay!

well, because of the snow days i've missed: English reading log due and test, Physics test and trebuchet team planning day, Desktop publishing test and t-shirt working day, Honors World History test and news day.  AWESOME!

I would never advise anyone to read Tess of the D'Urbervilles for enjoyment or anything else.  It is severely tedious and slow.  But hey, only 15 more chapters!! (out of 59)  The reading log is due Friday. 

Mitch Mustain is probably not going to Arkansas.  Nutt is desperate.  It's pathetic.

It's snowing HOORAY!!!!  It started snowing on us on the way home from church (7:35 pm)  I hope we miss school tomorrow. 

This is really short because I'm tired and nothing much has happened.  I got everyone's Christmas presents.  I hope you all enjoy sugar rushes.  Except Morgan and Megan.  Ya'll got something special.

HEY WE WON THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!!

i'ts so cool.  the score was 35-32.  the game was so good.  oh and the retarded refs missed a massive facemask call.  it was shown 3 times on the jumbotron, and they didn't even call it!!  oh well, we won anyway.

i came back to watch the springdale game that night.  ok funny story, we go to the stadium, not intending to make the kickoff.  we jump the curb and park on the grass, just like everyone else.  we get up to the gate on the springdale (away) side, and there is like 1000 people in line.  literally.  we go to the west memphis side assuming less people and as soon as we walk up, they are letting a buttload of people into the endzone stands!!  we got in with the crowd, still intending to sit on the springdale side, but to our dismay it is completely full.  so we sit on the nearly full west memphis side.  for free.  springdale took state (SHOCKER) with a score of 54-20.  no mercy rule, good job blue devils!!  yes, the west memphis achieved a moral victory of avoiding the dreaded springdale mercy rule.

HEYYYYY!!!!!!!!

GUESS WHAT KIDS.....WE'RE GOIN TO STATE AGAIN!!!!!!!!

i guess you could say i'm a bit excited.  yep we travelled to the fine city of wynne, arkansas and stole that win right out from under their noses.  twas fun.  25-24.  the winning score was a 2pt. conversion with 2:10 left in the game, giving us our first lead of the game.  mr. cody long finalized it by stopping wynne's final offensive drive with an interception with 55 seconds left in the game.  me and kate listened to the whole game over the internet and our grandparents' house.  best 3 hours of my weekend. 

and in other news:  black friday shopping was pretty fun.  we got to little rock around six am.  went to home depot, target, old navy, took a break for breakfast, resumed at mardel (a christian book/gift/teacher store), and wrapped it up at hastings.  got back to the g-rents house around 11:30.  that afternoon, we went at it again, returning to the rock for about 2 or 3 hours of shopping.  good times.  all i got was morgan's and my mom's christmas presents.  megan, i'm getting your's later, don't fret.

well, friends, my eye infection is a lot better!!  i don't look like i've been doing every illegal substance in the book anymore!!  still a little red, but much better!

oh while shopping at ye olde navy, i met this really cute boy from j. a. fair!  he saw me wearing a greenwood shirt and asked me if i really went there.  of course i said yes and he said "we just finished playin ya'll in football and you beat the livin he!! out of us"  i replied "*laughs* oh yeah....sorry *laughs again*"  he was really cute!!
